‘Neocon Nikki’ Is Not to Be Trusted

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley may run for president in 2024. But her record should make all patriots shun her. She is an unrepentant neoconservative who loves war, mass immigration, the military-industrial complex, and political correctness. Here’s why she is a Swamp Monster.

Anti-Trump

●      Haley was anti-Trump as early as the summer of 2015. She delivered a diatribe against the then-presidential candidate to a Washington D.C. audience on September 2, 2015. She said Trump’s attacks on political rivals and the media were not “who we are as Republicans. That’s not what we do.” She also lambasted Trump’s immigration policy and said his temperament could set off a world war. ●      Her 2016 State of the Union rebuttal primarily attacked Trump, instead of then-President Barack Obama. She particularly focused on his immigration rhetoric and policies. ●      She still opposed Trump even after he secured the party’s nomination. ●      Haley only said she would vote for Trump a few days before the 2016 election. She emphasized at the time that she was still “not a fan” of the future president. ●      Haley muted her criticism of Trump while she served as his ambassador to the U.N. But she began publicly distancing herself from the president as soon as she left office.

●      Haley condemned Trump after January 6 and strongly implied he should be banished from politics. She also said she was “disgusted” by Trump’s criticism of Mike Pence and predicted the 45th president would not be in the GOP picture. ●      Haley has consistently supported military intervention in Syria for the explicit purpose of regime change. In 2017, she claimed–contrary to Trump administration policy–that the White House sought the end of the Bashar al-Assad regime and rejected any suggestion of working with the Syrian president on peace. ●      In 2017, she provided dubious evidence of Iranian-supplied weapons to Yemeni rebels in an attempt to claim Iran committed an act of war against Saudi Arabia.
